All Nations at Our Finger Tips

Well here we are... all by our lonesome now in the DR.  The Watkins family has headed home and today was our first day alone in this beautiful country.  We have noticed a few things about being here and we wanted to share them with you!

We have quickly learned that for some reason here in the DR there are MANY people from all over the world.  For instance our neighbors are German, Dutch, Italian, and British... crazy! We were driving to the store to get some food and began to discuss how God has a sense of humor because though we thought we might impact some Haitians or Dominicans, He has planted us in the middle of all these nations! We got excited and praised Him then and there! He is so good.  There seems to be a lot of Germans in particular here which is a completely new culture for us and neat to learn about.  We finally got internet in our house today and it has made our lives so much better!

Please be praying for our neighbors and that the Lord would give us many opportunities to share the love of Christ with them!

We anticipate the arrival of our friends from Memphis, The Rowland Family coming next Wednesday so please pray for a safe travel for them!
